1. something navigated with an internal compass you'll never be able to describe.
2. something that makes you you (possibly); something you lost in the back of your closet years ago (option two); something you assumed you knew, but didn’t (and many more).
3. something decided by your parents and society and God and anyone but you.
4. something that determines how people treat you and whether or not you are allowed to cry about it.
5. something that does not control anyone nor something that anyone can much control. made up and real and meaningless and (in)consequential.
